- Only to you, I guess. Crippled to me means you can't use it. For
- example, the DPaintV demo is severely crippled. You can't save or open
- more than two different screen modes. On the other hand, you can use ppp.device for
- the rest of your life, everyday and it will work (unless your ISP is cheezy
- and requires PAP, then you're limited to 15 minutes at a time).
-
- If there weren't any additional features to be gained, I would *not*
- have registered it. Plain and simple. How many people have actually
- registered LHA? It does everything that I've ever needed it to do, so I
- haven't sent any money to Stefan. Sure, I *should* register lha, but it's
- way down on the list. The promise of increased speed for everything I do on
- the internet was an incredible incentive to register.
-
- I'm going to register THOR someday, not to get rid of the requesters,
- but because it's a nice package and I want to support it. For now, though,
- I can live with them. If Asher Feldman is still around (anyone know?), $10
- for a 10 times speed increase in UUxT is a great deal!
-
- But, by your definition, that's crippled, too, so it's useless....
